Wild Women Wear Red

Yesterday I took the Toddler back to the doctor for an x-ray and a re-casting. Despite attempts by both the Preschooler and me to persuade her to choose a more versatile color, the Toddler was determined to walk out of the office with a fire-engine red cast. And, so she did.

She says it looks like Strawberry Shortcake. I would say it looks more like Christmas in July.

At least it’s patriotic. And, I suppose it could be said that she’s raising awareness for women’s heart health, which is always a good cause, even if it isn’t February.

So, this will be a good opportunity for me to get over my need for everything in life to coordinate. Because, we’ll be clashing for at least two more weeks…
