Suburban Shalom

seeking peace and purpose from my little neck of the suburbs

Music makers

It’s always entertaining to see an old toy take on a new life as it’s discovered or rediscovered by a child. We’ve had this little piano for several years, but the girls have grown disinterested in it. However, the Baby recently found it in a neglected corner of the playroom, and she delights herself to no end by banging on playing it.

{Please ignore the intense hide n’ seek game going on in the background}

Also in the way of music… If you ever have a friend or family member you’d like to punish, I’d highly recommend these accordions as birthday or Christmas gifts for the kids. They can be found at your local “Crack-a-bell” restaurant gift shop:

    I agree about the accordion! His was a birthday present from a relative. I would never have willingly gotten one. It stays put up in the linen closet where he can't see it most of the time. When he does play it, he HAS to go outside 🙂

      The closet is the perfect spot for that! This house gets loud and crazy enough without the aid of any accordions 🙂
