Alas, much has to be done today because we are gearing up for a trip to the beach. And, I do mean “gearing” because it seems like going anywhere for more than a weekend requires a tremendous amount of gear. The swim bag alone takes up a good portion of the trunk.

And, then, there are all kinds of extras that have to be packed for entertainment.  Nothing says brilliant marketing like the dollar section at the front of Target.  And, yet, we always find something we “need” to have there, be it jelly balls or tacky sunglasses…

Well, I must keep this post short today.  Not only is the temperature inside the house quickly rising, but laundry and packing {and re-packing what mysteriously gets unpacked} all await.  Somehow I can imagine getting to the beach with things like one swimmie and one half of a tankini…
