Hands off {literally}
Early yesterday morning the Spouse noticed the Baby was making a strange face. Knowing that her favorite pastime is grazing on foreign objects, he swiped his finger through her mouth and recovered the tiny hand you see below:

For some reason, the Preschooler has long referred to “trick-or-treating” as “sugar-treating.” So, since it’s really a pretty fitting description of what happens on Halloween, we just go along with it. And, last night we did just enough sugar-treating to justify getting dressed up. The Kindergartener went as a Snow Princess, not to be confused…
Even though it’s technically still the spring season, the summer schedule is in full swing here now. And, by “schedule” I mean… we don’t have one. I’ve been in denial about this whole situation until this morning when I decided to drink an extra cup of coffee and fully embrace the fact that school in…
Over the weekend we made our usual trip to Lowe’s to get a few supplies for some around-the-house improvement projects. I realize Lowe’s is not a very exciting place for kids. We go from glee over hearing a baby say “da-da” or “ma-ma” (and why does “da-da” always come first?) to having full-blown conversations…
A few years ago, when the Preschooler turned one, she received a gift that just keeps on giving… the Cozy Coupe {in pink, of course}. Since it doesn’t have a proper odometer, I’d have to guess at its current mileage. But, I can say with certainty that it continues to serve us well. The Preschooler…
I love her expression! "What? Who me? What are you talking about?"
She is so cute!
