There are only two holidays each year when I make it a priority to take decent pictures of the girls: Christmas and Easter. I love looking back at these and seeing how much they’ve grown and changed in a year’s time. The Easter morning pic is always the most challenging because we’re dressed up and usually running late. But, somehow, yesterday we managed to allow enough time for a quick outdoor photo session with our hyperactive subjects…
And, since I don’t know how to use our mini tripod, we have one with Daddy…
And, one with Mommy…
The weather was perfect for being outside and swinging…
And, of course, for egg-hunting…
Only, the Toddler wasn’t particularly into the egg hunt thing…
And, decided to quit after she “found” one egg…
… and go back inside where she had other plans for her afternoon.
Meanwhile, the Preschooler thoroughly enjoyed the hunt…
And, racked up! (Even finding some dollars!)
This is the Toddler with the prizes she stole from her sister’s loot…
Why do all the work when someone else will do it for you?
And, this is the Preschooler demonstrating a creative new use for the silly bandz bracelets. Who knew they were so versatile?
Hope you and yours had a very happy Easter.

Julie: Thanks! I don't remember being quite as hyper and unruly, but maybe I've blocked that part out 😉
Beth: Thanks to you, too! I think your hair would look fabulous with a few silly bandz worked into it. With all those colors, the possibilities are endless, really…
