Now that the Baby is officially mobile, she stays busy getting into all of her sisters’ toys… things she’s had her eyes on for months and just couldn’t quite reach. This, of course, annoys the girls to no end. The Toddler is especially territorial with certain toys, like the dollhouse. And, right now, the Baby is obsessed with it…
She just wants to play. Understandably, though, her playmates don’t really appreciate the fact that she tries to eat the heads off the little people and slobbers on the furniture.
So, the big girls have come up with a solution. The Baby can be a member of their “baby class.” The set up usually looks something like this…
The “class” consists of all the baby dolls they can find, plus a few substitutes including Minnie, Daisy, and Kate the Teddy Bear. And, the class follows a strict schedule. They have playtime, lunch time, potty time, and most importantly–rest time.
This is the part where they decided the real Baby could join in.
Only, they didn’t take into consideration that real babies {at least our real babies} don’t nap on command…
And, this Baby had places to go…
And, things to do…
Until her escape was reported and she was banished to the time-out basket…
And, something tells me this may be only the beginning of her days of being bossed around and toted around and stuck in unfortunate positions like this one.
I wouldn’t know from experience, but I hear it’s hard to be the baby.
