Yesterday was our first day to hang out at home in what seems like a long time. So, as usual, the girls found all sorts of new ways to get in trouble entertain themselves.
The morning started out with me discovering this set-up in our den…
I’m not sure exactly what the plans were for the chairs, but I’m certain it involved someone standing and/or jumping off the one on the trampoline in some form or fashion.
Of course, I harshly told the Preschooler that we don’t ever put furniture or other objects on top of the trampoline. And, to drive my point home, I told her that her daddy would be very disappointed to see this. To which she replied:
“No, Daddy would be so proud of me.”
See… this is what I deal with all day.
Fortunately, by lunch time the weather had cleared up enough for us to get outside and find some better forms of entertainment. We have a new play-set this season that the girls are in love with right now. My favorite part is the picnic table underneath the set where I try to convince them to linger so we can all sit still for a few minutes and relax…
Hope you have a great weekend!
PS: The Spouse would like me to mention that after hitting up four different stores on Saturday night, he did indeed find the right chocolate eggs for my Easter basket this year. So, he officially redeemed the brand confusion issue of years past, and we are now happily stocked on Cadbury Mini Eggs through at least mid-May.
